The technique is called "Opalescent Pearls". I got the idea from the Technique Junkies newsletter! (If you want more info on this just let me know and I can send you the link to subscribe - it is worth the $3 per issue for sure!) I started with A strip of black Card stock and I DTP'd it with the versamark pad - be sure the entire piece is covered with ink. Now take a bushy paint brush and apply 3 different shades of Pearl-ex. I used purple, blue and the duo red violet. I stamped on top of that with the Dragonfly from Fast and Fun Shadows - with Black Brilliance. I layered it to a piece of Purple Card stock and tied a ribbon around it, then attached a piece of window screen (if you have not gotten any of this from the hardware store you should!) and stamped the Warmest wishes from the Contempo greetings set in Black Brilliance.
